I was shocked with IE9, I actually was almost excited about this browser as I was about IE4. But you're exactly right about chrome. I even tried pushing myself on Opera, because that browser is phenomenal in terms of features + speed, and I would use it as my default except for the fact that some sites didn't display right (mint settings) and had problems (google voice). Thank god for Mozilla sparking up this new browser war. If it wasn't for them we would still be stuck with a IE6 with a vista theme (and maybe netscape 10 :p)Comment on Estimation by fertility medication

The home screen of the Period Tracker Deluxe app for iPhone features flowers that bloom as your fertility window peaks. Totally girly, I know, but kind of neat regardless of if you're trying to get pregnant with yourComment on When Your IE Cache Is Corrupt by Andrea_R

"use the Wordpress MU platform to sustain multiple blogs with one install." Teeny tiny nitpick. WordPress MU is no longer developed as a separate platform. It's now in the core of WordPress and referred to as a network of sites. Sometimes also called multisite. :)Comment on Do We Need Digital Cameras? by Kevin Rubin

A fancier camera, like an SLR will give you more options for low light photography so you can get good photos at night... But that's something most camera phones I've seen won't do, so they up the ISO and give grainy pictures, or too long an exposure so they're shaky...Comment on Do We Need Digital Cameras? by Kevin Rubin

While I occasionally get some good photos with my iPhone 4, pretty much all in daylight, it's no substitute for my regular digital camera. I take my digital SLR everywhere, and the key thing I like about the SLR is having options for interchangeable lenses and a lot more control over settings, which the camera phone can't touch. I agree with starting with a point & shoot, though. At my last company, which was big enough to have a photo club, a lot of members never took part in shoots because they felt their cameras weren't fancy enough to compete with those of us using SLRs. I kept telling them, "don't worry about it, you can still take good photos, especially in daylight." One of things I liked to stress to people shy about their gear was that the absolute number one part of taking good photos is pointing the camera in the right direction, which is easily possible with the point & shoot (number two being taking the lens cap off...) I'm thinking of getting a point & shoot myself now. I've been in NYC for about six months, with my digital SLR and iPhone. People all over hand me their cameras to take their pictures in front of landmarks and tall buildings and things, and that's kind of fun. But I don't have the nerve to hand my expensive camera and lenses to someone else to take my photo, so there's almost no photographic evidence that I've been in New York...Comment on How Devoted Do I Need To Be To My Blog? by pcnerd37

A good routine is great advice. I have adopted the schedule of 5 posts every weekday and it has paid off huge in terms of traffic and the amount of great content I have. I schedule the blog posts to go up at the same time every day so my readers know when they can expect new posts out of me and one of the best things that a blogger can be is predictable and reliable.
